LOSTBELT NO. 2: GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG, THE GOOD FELLOW OF EVERLASTING FLAME
MASH KYRIELIGHT.
LEONARDO DA VINCI (RIDER).
SHERLOCK HOLMES.
"That moment Holmes was torn into pieces, I was like, huh?! 'Is Holmes going to vanish now too?!! NoooooOOO! And what do you mean he's mixed with something?!' I was surprised in several ways."
"I was genuinely taken aback when I realized we might be losing another dependable ally and the other half of Chaldea's intellectual backbone with Da Vinci-chan in Holmes. I was really relieved in the second half of the story when he came back because I didn't want to lose anyone like that again."

GERDA.
"Gerda was a delicate girl with a big, compassionate heart—super cute, right? Basically, the kind of person 'heroes' are meant to look out for. But the second chapter of the Lostbelts makes it pretty clear that the Chaldean group isn't exactly 'everyone's heroes.' At the same time, it tells a story of fiery love that's pretty rare in other chapters. A passionate love that can melt the Nordic snow, compelling enough to carry on with a mission even after death. Honestly, I think the second Lostbelt chapter really stands out as a perfect representation of FGO and works great on its own. It's really good!"
"Being a fan of Andersen-sensei, her name was like a direct attack on me. That bold, courageous way of living... I made up my mind to see this story through to the end, always remembering the tears I shed after clearing this Lostbelt."
"That final 'hop' scene still makes me sad to this day. I don't think I'll ever forget such a beautiful yet cruel ending..."
"I was super into Gerda-chan's character from the moment she appeared, but her last scene hit so hard. I had an exam the next day, and thinking about her during it just brought up all that pain… but now, it’s a pretty memorable moment LOL. I hope Gerda-chan will be able to find happiness in some other world... "
NAPOLEON.
"The second half of the story had me hooked and really touched me. I might be a overreacting a bit, but thanks for changing my life. I'll keep on loving you, FGO!"
"He really was a 'fellow of everlasting flame', someone you could always count on. I really liked how he smoothly transitioned from flirting with Ophelia to delivering those lines during the showdown with Surtr. His ability to stay level-headed was the best."
"I remember how he showed up in a dire situation when we were without a new base, on the run, and even lacking the Shadow Border, yet he instantly managed to lift the mood. His cheerful attitude made the journey of the little Grande Armée more fun, and the final scene where he unleashed his Noble Phantasm was both passionate and impressive, prompting me to roll for him as soon as I completed everything. While 'Rebellion' is definitely one of my top favorites in FGO's BGM, it was the sequence of events with Napoleon in LB2 that really made me love this song."

SITONAI.
OPHELIA PHAMRSOLONE.
"Man, I was screaming 'OPHELIA-CHAAAAN' from beginning to end back then. That last scene was incredible. I thought, 'Who wouldn't cry over that'? Her wish to be friends with Mash was short-lived and sad, but it really touched me."
"Ophelia was fully aware of the burden that came with destroying a world, a feeling we hadn’t completely grasped even after our time in Russia. She would destroy the very world she had fought so hard to protect..."
"I was moved by the fact that she did something like that for someone else... I seriously wish she was still alive."
"'Shine, shine, SHINE! Now is the time to shine brightest... ──my Sirius Light!' A grand Command Spell where the cost is the wielder's life. I wept as I witnessed Ophelia using her Sirius Light, tears of blood streaming from her Mystic Eye."
"A 'normal girl' who despised Sundays, who was kind, sad, and serious, and unable to move forward on her own. Engaging in that conflict in the Lostbelt with such a kind person was painful. I cried when you, a timid girl, took a step forward off Surtr's shoulders, fueled by the hope, courage, and potential that Napoleon provided to wield your Sirius Light, fully aware that it would lead to your end. Your Sirius Light shone brighter than anyone else's."
"I wanted to see what might have been, of Ophelia, Mash, and Pepe-san having a tea party, chatting and enjoying some girls' talk."
SCÁTHACH-SKADI.
"Queen Skadi has been safeguarding the Scandinavian region for 3,000 years, maintaining a stable population. While I can't say I was entirely happy with the way people lead such brief lives, I appreciated that the queen genuinely cared for humanity. Still, I found myself feeling quite conflicted about it. Even though Proper-Human History carries more human lives on its shoulders, I was truly impressed by the Queen's determination to fiercely protect the Scandinavians, who were seen akin to a miracle, despite knowing they were ultimately destined to be pruned. I don't think I could make a decision like the protagonist did."
SURTR.
"Surt-kun really likes Ophelia-chan and is a genuinely 'good guy' who pays a lot of attention to her. So, it struck me as really memorable that he could only say and do things to make him less likeable. Almost like he was acting like a 'monster who doesn't understand people'."
"You found love, and that became everything for you. It was unstoppable, just like a fire. Your flame was all you had, but once love entered your life, it ignited a burn within you. It wasn't entirely your fault. But maybe it was your fault that you were you."
"I was impressed to see that every character in Götterdämmerung was fighting for their own genuine emotions and desires."
"I really liked how even a god could fall for a human. He did all that because he cared for her and wanted to keep the woman he loves safe. But that memorial quest with Surtr? I won't let that slide."
"He really made me cry... It feels like there's a thorn stuck in my heart even now."
